On Friday 18th Sep 2020 (29th Muharram 1442 AH) the Hilal of Safar 1442  was sighted in many parts of the UK.

 

Therefore, Sat 19 September 2020 will be the 1st day of Safar 1442 AH 

 

Supplication at the Sight of the Crescent 👇🏻

 

اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ علَيْنَا بِالأَمْنِ والإِيمَانِ، وَالسَّلامَةِ والإِسْلامِ، رَبِّي ورَبُّكَ اللَّه، هِلالُ رُشْدٍ وخَيْرٍ

O Allah, let this moon appear on us with security and Iman; with safety and Islam. (O moon!) Your Rabb and mine is Allah. May this moon be bringing guidance and good
